macots and nicknames

For those educators (and others!) doing work on or related to the issue of
American Indian mascots, I now have a web page with information about the
documentary "In Whose Honor?". "In Whose Honor?" is available as a
resource for those trying to educate others about not only the mascot
issue, but stereotypes and racism.

The documentary has already been used successfully in University of
Illinois courses in sociology, anthropology, and urban planning, as well as
in two local high schools and a junior high. It is also being utilized by
the Krannert Art Museum for teacher training programs.

Within the next week I will be adding some research info to the web page,
including my list of the colleges and universities that have eliminated
American Indian mascots, listed by the date of the action.
