This posting made me think of the 1980 hardbound high school text "The
Written, Spoken and Unspoken Word - A Native Aemrican Languge Arts Text"
(379 pages and copyrighted by the BIA) published by the BIA's Anadarko
Area Office. It uses Indian authors and Indian languages. It seems sad to
me that these things get produced and then seem to drop out of sight and
out of print.
