This message is directed toward Michel Gros-Luis, who says he teaches
and studies the Huron-Wyandotte language.

First, I remember reading in SIL's _Ethnologue_ that there are
only a few hundred Hurons left, and none speak the language, so
it is considered extinct. Or are there indeed some speakers left?

Second, the 'Huron Carol' ('Twas in the moon of wintertime...) was
supposedly written in the Huron language by a French missionary
priest years ago. (I have the words, if you don't and would like
them, Michel.) But I haven't been able to get the words to fit
the melody. Do you have any insights on this?
