I don't think that Matthew asking how to say "shut up and dance" is especially
negative. As you say, maybe in some other cultures but I assume this might be
for "Ind'ins". Most natives who would engage in prattling are already making
themselves a nuisance to those around them so "shut up and dance" would be a
friendly, joking way to nudge them out of it. Most folks at pow wows and other
gatherings are continually joking with one another. I don't know a person in
our community who would find this offensive. It all depends on your point of
view. For my part, I plan to submit a few phrases. :)
