Greeting's;
I posted once before on this listserv asking for your help about
a Native American speaker. His name is Jack Gladstone (Blackfoot),
needless to say I recieved several responses from people who had heard
his presentations. The University of Texas at Austin paid for him to give
a presentation at the Native American Culture Week we planned. He
couldn't make it for our planned week of activities, but he showed up a
week after and will give a presentation tomorrow. I would just like to
say thank you to the people who responded to my call for help.
I need to ask another favor from all of you out there in Indian
Country. The Austin Public Library is planning a reading campaign, and
they want to make a poster with the words " Use Your Imagination". In
several different languages. They have asked me if it is possible to get
this phrase in several Native Languages. I responded to them that I will
post a message on the Nativenet and see how many people respond to my cry
for help. Thank you again for your help and assistance.
