I know there is programs that operate as simulators for a OS..
such as on the IBM/PC under DOs has programs that simulate
Apple DOS..

[ Even if there are such things, they're bound to operate slowly and
inefficiently. I think this discussion about computers has probably
gone far enough. I suggest we get back to the subject of language.
