I would like to begin reading studies about existing national
(official) language policies and their effects on on local, "native",
unofficial language viability. I am particularly interested in Africa but
would like some suggestions regarding the best general introductory
literature on the topic as well. Any citations that you can sugggest will
be greatly appreciated.
