[ This article was sent originally to the INDKNOW list, from whence I
obtained it. I have taken the liberty of adding Lawrie to the NAT-LANG
list, so you can send replies to NAT-LANG, contrary to what the following
statement requests. (I feel that this information should be of general
interest to members of NAT-LANG, and answers should appear here in this
case. I have sent Lawrie instructions for unsubscribing from NAT-LANG.)

I am not currently a subscriber to this list, but I'm mailing to you in
the hope that you'll be able to help. If you can, please mail direct to
me **NOT** the list.

I'm entering a range of south-eastern Australian, indigenous language
(mostyly Werkaya dialect group) faunal vocabularies onto wordprocessor
files on my PC. Previously I have used WordPerfect 5.1 (DOS) which has
vast alternate character sets including useful phonetic characters such as
the digraph "ng", etc. Now I'm using AmiPro 3.0 (Windows), but I'm not
aware of any Windows font set containing these characters. Does anyone
out there know of such a font set, and where I can get hold of it?

Thankyou in anticipation -- Lawrie Conole.
