NativeNet: emergency shutdown

I seem to have lost one of the main file systems upon which the operation
of the NativeNet mailing lists depends, and only count myself lucky that I
am able to transmit this message. I will have to take my computer system
out of operation for what I can expect to be the remainder of today. The
problem does not seem to be serious enough to warrant asking that articles
you were planning to send to one of the NativeNet lists be held. I expect
that whatever mail is sent to one of the lists (or to me personally) during
the upcoming outage will be held on a relay system, and will be transmitted
here (and on to Jay, in the case of NATIVE-L and NATCHAT traffic) after the
problem has been resolved.

I regret the emergence of this problem, especially following yesterday's
outage, which was due to a completely unrelated circumstance, and hope to
have things running normally before tomorrow.

Wish me luck.

Gary
