A month or two ago, we sent out a plaintive plea for videos
showing Native immersion programs in progress...if anyone sent
answers, they may have unfortunately fallen on deaf electronic
"ears" as our email account was rudely disconnected. We have
recovered, and would like to ask again if anyone would be
willing to send such videos. We will be very happy to cover
costs/prices of such videos. We would also love to get our
hands on actual curriculum for immersion classes, arguments
for immersion, and statistics showing effects of immersion
on speaking ability. We would also like to make a list of all
schools/tribes/programs involved in Native language immersion
programs of any variety currently being undertaken in the
United States, Canada and Mexico. We will be more than happy to
doctor all of this information up and distribute it to interested
parties.
