I would like to hear from anyone interested in Mayan literature or
oral traditions. I can send to anyone who so requests, a collection
of ten animal fables translated from Q'anjob'al Maya, or the first
chapter of the Mayan novel, "A Mayan Life," by Gaspar Pedro
Gonz lez of Guatemala, which describes the events in the first day
in the life of a new Maya child.
