in 1993 the First Nations School in Toronto was offering a Course in Cree

Their address is 935 Dundas Street, E.
Toronto, ON; Canada

(don't have postal code). At that time their phone number was:

416 393 0555

In Sept. 1993 Richard Robbins sent the following source:

One of the best sources for Cree language learning is Douglas Ellis's book,
SPOKEN CREE. It is available, along with an extensive tape supplement,
from Pica Pica Press, University of Alberta Press, Edmonton, Alberta.

There have been many other articles over the years on the Cree language
which have no doubt been archived. Ask Gary for archival info.

[ To get a copy of instructions on locating and retrieving articles from
the archives for NAT-LANG and/or the other NativeNet mailing lists,
just send a message to "listserv@tamvm1.tamu.edu" which contains the
single line of text "get nn-intro archives native-l" (that's the numeral
"1" in "tamvm1" and the letter "l" in "native-l"). --Gary ]
