I'm inquiring on behalf of the Rev. Cliff Dee of Kashechewan, Ontario
who is visiting Toronto this week until Friday.

Does there exist software that will produce text in Cree syllabics
(the Moose Cree system), operating on a PC, and for preference
with WordPerfect 5.1 ? (And should I be asking elsewhere?)

Cliff says he knows of software for Macs, which most folks in
Kashechewan use; but his own computer is a PC.

As I am not a member of these groups, please reply directly by e-mail,
and I'll convey replies to Cliff before he leaves Toronto.
He can be reached by telephone in Toronto at 416-537-2296 until Friday
morning (June 9). In Kashechewan, 705-275-4530. Fax can be sent
in care of the Kashechewan First Nations: 705-275-1023.
