It sounds like a good idea, but how many of us are on this list-server?
I doubt I'll be inclined to read several hundred sentences in as many
languages that I don't speak, though I am eager to read the few that I
could learn from.
Perhaps a compilation of addresses of individuals interested in
particular languages could be made available, and those wanting to mail
sentences and grammar tips could directly mail only those interested in
that language.

I have another suggestion I'd like to propose - how about the idea of my
providing a set of electronic addresses to which such sentences could be
sent - one for each language, and have them automatically filed under a
Web page? I'm presently in the process of weaving a NativeNet Web page,
and plan to have a language section, and I'm looking for neat things to
do in order to develop some skills in Web work. Given the successes I've
had thus far, I think that the sort of thing I'm suggesting wouldn't be
too difficult - but it might take me a few weeks to get things set up,
given all the other tasks I need to accomplish along the way.

Native Languages Web page? How many people have/don't have access to
the Web? (You can send answers to the first question to this list by

clutter up the list with such things.)
I think that once we have a stable Web resource, there are a lot of
things that have been difficult to do that we can now contemplate.
