WRT the request for the term,
``computer,'' in Chinese (Mandarin),
the word (in Yale Romanisation) is:

dya'n nau

where the first phrase is pronounced
with a falling tone, and the second
with a neutral tone.
Literally translated it means
``electric brain.''
