I missed the original posting, but someone is looking for the
way to say "computer" in foreign languages?
In Japanese, the word "kompyuutaa" (transliterated,
"kompyuutaa") is always used. The native Japanese words
"keisanki" (calculator) and "denshi keisanki" (electronic
calculator) are not used.
