Well, I know that a certain US hispanic band uses it as an emphatic word in
a song. Oh. Sorry. That was "taquila". According to my Harvard Lampoon text
"Everything about Everything", the word "nagila" refers to the immature young
of the nauga, from which naugahide is obtained.

Actually, I think Eric is confusing the word with "naugila" :-) --Gary ]
