INTERNATIONAL DAY TO PROTEST THE IMPRISONMENT OF LEONARD PELTIER

CEREMONY AND RALLY

SAN JOSE FEDERAL BUILDING

Corner of 2nd & San Carlos Streets in Downtown San Jose

Wednesday June 26th 11:30 am

Leonard Peltier, American Indian Movement leader, is serving two
life terms in federal prison for crimes he did not commit. June
26th marks the Anniversary of the Pine Ridge shootout for which
Leonard was imprisoned. He was imprisoned because of his work
with AIM. Leonard is a political prisoner and it is time that he
be released! Come and show your support for Leonard and his case.

The Bay Area Alliance, which consists of A.I.M., The
International Indian Treaty Council, San Jose Big Mountain
Resistance and Support Group, and others, are hosting events
leading up to June 25, 1991, the anniversary of the Little Big
Horn battle, and June 26, 1991, anniversary of the Shootout for
which Leonard was arrested and framed. For information, call:
