Russell Means on "Dances with Wolves"

Regarding the comments on Dances with wolves-- I have not logged on this
conference in many weeks (am embarassed to say) and am only about one third
way through these comments about the movie.

I want you all to know that Dances With Wolves is credited with renewed interest
by the Congress in Indian Affairs. It is even mentioned in the same breath
as the fact that the Senate has added SIX new Senators to the Senate Committee
on Indian Affairs. So maybe we can take a few of the inaccuracies (like
horse shoes on the Indians' horses.)
