The Matthiessen book is IN THE SPIRIT OF CRAZY HORSE, published by Viking
Press in an updated edition just this May (1991). It is still in hardcover,
and goes for $24.95. Many libraries, if they don't have this new edition
yet, will likely have the original 1983 edition, also from Viking.
[ Oops - I knew about the Matthiessen book, of course. What I meant to
ask about is the "Brand book." Any info? --Gary ]
