I can appreciate your frustration over the situation of your Nation and
Peabody Coal. But isn't part of the problem found in your actions as an
accessory to raping of the sacred earth. I don't say that to present
myself as a pious preacher; but let us take a short look at what I mean.
The Corporations are like the pusher and we become like the addict.
Corpoarte America comes with a bright smile on its face and gives us the
"sugar" until we become hooked and than C.A. no longer gives but now sells
to us and it demands a price we now have to pay. Of course it nows that it
can not just take or we may have enough strength to revolt so it continues
to give us some sugar (like funds for students to go to school) and as the
years go by we begin to live under the yoke of that addiction and speak as
though it is something we can wean ourselves from. The truth is; either you
let it go or you don't complain about it and accept the consequences of your
decision.
There are funds available for Indigenous students who wish to go to school
in those areas that you want to pursue, you don't need to limit yourself to
easy way out. I wish you luck with "your fight".
Respectfully
Buddy
