| A Native American, (I believe) tribally-controlled, career development center
| is seeking a computer science teacher. The center staff called me up for
| ideas about finding qualified applicants, especially Native Americans. I
| could assist her in identifying instructor training programs in general. My
| question is: do any of you have any ideas about where to go/what to do to
| maximize the chances that qualified instructor who also happen to be Native
| American see the job posting.
Two networks you might look at are edtech and edutel. They both have
computer teachers on line. Another possibility is the Dead Teachers
network. It has been inactive for a while so I am not sure what would
happen to the message.
To get on either network send a subscription message to
edtech@ohstvma
edutel@rpics
That should do it. If you have any questions please let me know.
