My name is Jan Pflugfelder. I am Project Director of a new program at the
College of Nursing - Arizona State University - which has as its goals to
increase the number of Native Americans studying nursing and to increase
the number of nurses providing care to Native Americans.
I am interested in voluntary assistance with recruitment of Native Americans
and retention of Native Americans in our programs. Names, contact persons
or organizations, resources about teaching strategies for Native Americans
as well as schedules of events that would be helpful for recruiting
purposes.

We are seeking to hire a fulltime Program Coordinator for the project.
Responsibilities of job will include but not be limited to:
* recruitment travel through AZ
* Advising Native American nursing students on campus - ASU
* Advising prospective Native American students off campus
Minimum Requirements:
* Have knowledge of and successful experience with Native American
cultures.
* Knowledge of health sciences
* Knowledge/experience in recruiting
