Ledyard, CT.
Just this past week the Masentucket Pequot Indain Reservation located in
Ledyard CT has begun accepting applications for a Casino which is currently
being built on the Reservation. The casio will make way for about 1900 new
jobs to the rural community. The Reservation already has high stakes Indian
Bingo with stakes quite high. Over the past fouth of July weekend they gave
away 3 New Cadillac cars as door prizes and had a pot of over $500,000. The
state did all they could to put a stop to the construction of a casino but
to there surprise the Reservation won hands down. I am glad to see some
Reservations comming ahead in Society today. I have applied as well and hope
to working in the computer repair end of the Reservation.
