I'm hearing lots of different "origin stories." Bering Strait is
one of them. There is evidence of American settlements 50,000
years ago, so I'm told. Columbus wasn't the only one to ride the
seas.....arrival could have been from waterways. And.....some
say that the origin could be in the Americas, and the migration
was actually the reverse of what is told???? What is fact and what
is fiction???? Could we not also have more than one place of
origin (seems like Jay Gould was suggesting that is his Stanford
presentation this Spring).
