Bob Rae has so far taken a very strong stand on native rights, native self-
government, and native questions in general. While I do not know him
personally I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and encourage
everybody to write to him and to urge him to drop DAISHOWA paper bags from the
Ontario Liquor Control Board.
Even if he was inclined to favour the side of forestry workers, the only way
to sway a politician is by bringing public pressure on him.
SO people, write to him!!!!!
I am presently trying to find out more about the corporate structure of
DAISHOWA and hope to upload a list of companies that are wholly or partially
owned by DAISHOWA, or have joint ventures, etc. with DAISHOWA. It will not be
a list of products as you wished, but the next best thing.
If Lubicons did not think it would be a good idea to encourage Bob Rae to take
a stand, they would not have asked us to write to him.
