Dave Taylor asks for a reading list on NA religion. If a personal list was
mwant, skip this suggestion. If a reading list to be given to students is
what Dave wants, Morgan's chapter on Hodenosaunee religion is worth giving,
not so much for accuracy but as an example of how ethnocentrism can get in
the way of even a benign description of another culture's beliefs. For
one's own use, I'd recomend that you find someplace with a copy of the Human
Relations Area Files which you can use to read extracts from ethnographies
on particular topics.
