Native news seems to be a hot topic this week. National Geographic has just
come out with an issue devoted to Americans before Columbus, complete with a
map of modern museums and sits. Time's cover article deals with endangered
native peoples around the world. This includes the Penan in Sarawak that we've
heard so much about here on NativeNet.
Stay tuned. I'm sure there will be more as we move into the countdown to
Quincentennial Day.
