The HQ ad in the NYTimes and other papers was in apparent response to a
full-page ad run on October 21 by the James Bay Coalition, which includes
Earth Island Institute, Environmental Planning Lobby, Friends of the Earth,
Grand Council of the Cree, Greenpeace, Humane Society of the US, National
Audubon Society, Native American Council of NYC, Natural Resources Defense
Council, Rainforest Action Council, Sierra Club, and Student Environmental
Action Council of NY State. I don't have the time and energy to type it
all in, but am willing to fax it to someone who will. The address given
in the ad for more information is c/o Greenpeace, PO Box 2032, New York,
NY 10013. Perhaps they'll send a copy to those who ask.
I have several other short articles critical of the project, and would
be glad to fax them to anyone who will scan and/or type them into these
electronic networks.
