I can't always read everything; but often I do. Just because the wider
culture has had such an effect on people that they have no comprehension
of anything that takes longer than a 30 second TV commercial or "sound
bite" to grok, doesn't mean that the information isn't useful or
important. I've expressed an opinion that I don't like "dumping" on
those who have finally been recognized as members of a First Nation (the
Woodland Cree) and yet I fully appreciate the information about the
Lubicon struggle and perspective. Where else can this information come
from for those of us not right at the scene?
As I've said before, if any information at all were to be dropped, it
would be that that does not directly pertain to the North American
Indian scene.

[ The stated purpose of NativeNet is to cover issues relating to *all*
aboriginal peoples, wherever they may live, not just in North America.
One reason for this broad focus is to encourage building bridges of
solidarity among people engaged in their seemingly separate struggles.
