WE'D LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO JOIN US...
and become a Founding Journalist for NNNC - Canada's
newly formed Native News Network.
We are a professional news agency organized for
First Nations Journalists to provide on-the-spot and
eyewitness coverage of breaking and developing stories
on First Nations affairs and issues.
NNNC wants to purchase your freelance or assigned
stories, features or commentaries for an agreed fee.
We will accept print stories on paper or computer
diskette, or radio quality audio cassettes.
Your reportage or editorial analysis will be
marketed by NNNC to the Native and non-Native print and
broadcast media across Canada, including a large
network of Canadian University radio stations.
NNNC's headquarters for receiving and distributing
up-to-date Native news is a well-equipped office on the
campus of The University of Western Ontario in London.
We are pleased to have this location, but we are
fully independent, and are not affiliated with the
university in any official way. We paddle our own
canoe and depend on our own potential to raise funds
and recruit journalists, photographers, and support
staff.
Here's where you come in! Please consider signing
on as a Founding Journalist, now, and help make the
Native News Network of Canada a going concern.
First of all send for an application form or more
information.
