I work at the Indiana University Library and as part of my job I read the
American Weekly Record and British National Bibliography every week. I
suggested to Gary that I might periodically submit a list of books that I
come across which relate to affairs of indigenous peoples and he thought it
would be a good idea. Please keep in mind when reading these lists that
they in no way reflect any personal opinions or biases on my part. I'm
simply listing whatever books I find. I hope some of you might find these
listings helpful.
Best,
Duane-Michael De Luca (Internet: ddeluca@ucs.indiana.edu)

P.S. This initial list will be fairly long since I've been saving some
items for my own interest for a while.

These items list Indians of North America - First contact with Occidental
Civilization in the subject headings.
Please let me know if there is any interest in the
anthropological/prehistory stuff like the last number of items I entered.
If there is no interest in this particular subject area I will not include
these items in the future.
Again I hope this listing is useful and it will probably not be nearly as
long in the future.
