Does anybody know exactly what are the dimensions of the proposed new
province of Nunavut in the Northwest Territories of Canada? Distributional
maps of native groups in Canada indicate that part of NWT north of Manitoba
is inhabited by Cree, Chipewyans, and Yellowknife Athapaskan Indians. It
would be a grave injustice to them to give the Inut control of this area.
