I'm glad Lee wrote about Jamake Highwater and Ruth Beebe Hill. I also
was unsure what AIM found offensive about them. Ditto for H. Storm
whose _Seven Arrows_ was a beautiful, moving novel. Now, it's true
that Lynn Andrews (whom I dislike) dropped Storm's name in one of her
books and apparently he does do some medicine-type work.

But, gee whiz, I'd hate to see everybody who's not in the AIM clique
be black-listed. Through my husband I know many Indians who might
not be "in" by AIM's standards, but are nevertheless good people with
the same needs and rights as others and are just as "Indian" as those
who live on or near the reservations.
