The point of the scientists' conclusion is to rid white America of its guilt.
Although the diseases killed many Native Americans. They wanted to mask with
such "findings" the genocide which occurred after 1492. Not once did the article
mention the campaigns and massacres which wreaked the ultimate havoc on many
Native nations.
