Walter Bresette info wanted

Hello everybody. Does anyone have any info. on or know of a Walter Versette,
a Lake Superior Chippewa? His name was sugested as a possible speaker for our
upcoming Native American heritage month at Kansas State Univ. any info on him
would be appreciated, Ah-ho.

[ I have heard Walter (the last name is Bresette) a couple of times, once at
the "From the Arctic to Amazonia" conference that got me started in this
NativeNet business (Fall 1989, Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts),
and again in May in San Francisco. I have a tape of that talk of which I
could send you a copy. I can send more details by email if you're inter-
ested. Perhaps someone else can give more details. I know that Prof. Peter
d'Errico has had him in to speak to his Legal Studies classes. --Gary ]
