The South & Mesoamerican Indian Information Center announces the recent
release of its "1992 INTERNATIONAL DIRECTORY & RESOURCE GUIDE". This
new contribution contains 146 pages divided into eleven main parts:
Intro, 2 Indigenous Declarations, 3 Calendar of 1992 Events, 4 Suggestions
for Action, 5 Curriculum Resources, 6 Speakers Bureaus, 7 Computer
Networks, 8 Audio-visual & Media Resources, 9 Books, Periodicals, etc,
10 Organizational Directory, and 11 Main Directory.

Each copy is US$ 10.00. This price allows SAIIC to donate copies of the
Guide to Indigenous organizations in Meso, Central and South America,
where resources are scarce or unaffordable for Indigenous peoples.

It is also available the last 47 page SAIIC Newsletter (VOL 6, # 1&2,
Spring Summer 1991, US$ 3.00). Some issues contained in this last
issue are: Oil Wars in the Amazon; Culture, Identity and Plurinationality;
Organizing for 1992 & Beyond; "The Clothes that we wear, A silent Strategy";
Yanomami Victory; Indian Women of the South & Central America ..."
This issue features a picture of the mural "America Discovers Itself!"
by artist Carlos Arrien of Washington D.C. [The Mural is located at
