South Africa and America

I am writing a paper on the way that America views the situation in South
Africa. Basically, I want to discuss the irony that Americans look down on the
way that Africans have been treated by the white South African government, and
yet look at the way the American government has treated, and continues to
treat, Native Americans. Granted, apartheid is an evil system and should be
protested, but I want to concentrate on the "who are we to talk" aspect. Does
anyone know of any good sources of information on this subject?
Thanks!
