ANIS Members released.
Yesterday SAIIC received a call from ANIS saying that
members of the organization, the National Indian Association of El
Salvador, had been released and will return today to the lands
that they had cultivated.
President Cristiani personally met with the leaders of
ANIS to work out arrangements for the release of their members,
and the return to their lands. SAIIC does not have details as to
the long term legal status of the lands, and ANIS continued
access. SAIIC awaits further information from ANIS regarding land
title.
