Jim Pepper has Died?

I was listening to NPR's Morning Edition (Friday, 3/20) and I heard
that Jim Pepper has died. He was 50.

I would like very much to commiserate with other about this man and to
discuss some of his music. I am currently only familiar with Pepper's
Pow-Wow which contains the song Witchie-tai-toe. (Forgive any
misspellings)
