Help w/Hawaii visit and Research

Hi. I'm an author of books for young adults, writing on environmental
and social issues. Currently I'm compiling material for a library
reference work that includes bib., audio-visuals, organizations, etc.
dealing with tropical and temperate rainforest issues. I'd appreciate
suggestions for items to include (need full description--date, pub.,etc.)
ALSO: I'll be in Maui, July 12-19, 1992 to attend International Reading
Ass'n conf. with another couple, but want to stay in 2 br, 2 bth apt. and visit
rainforest on Maui and big island. Any ideas? Thanks for help. email kgay
