See Russell Peter's book, _The Wampanoags of Mashpee_, for three maps,
circa 1600, 1681, and 1880. Russell may be contacted by mail at 128
Williams St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. You might call his brother
John Peters (Slow Turtle) at the Massachusetts Commission on Indian
Affairs, 617-727-6966 or -6394. There are a number of people in
Mashpee who could help. The Tribal Council Office is 508-477-0208.
