Hello!

This is a header posting to announce eight cross-postings
from FidoNet's echo area INDIAN_AFFAIRS. This is a test
and is intended to demonstrate what's going on on Fido.
Since FidoNet carries a lot of traffic, some discussion
threads concerning Mohawks have been chosen as a form of
representation. Since Mohawks make up the bigger part of
overall traffic, this is judged a fair representation.

Gary and I are currently evaluating if some form of
automatic forwarding can be found, since manual forwards
such as this one involve *MUCH* work.

Please send any recommendations, suggestions and criticism either
to Gary or to me. We are thankful for all kinds of response.

Yours

Oliver

[ I will be relaying the postings Oliver mentions after a bit of a delay,
during which I will be reviewing those postings. I also want to give
this article a chance to propagate through the network, so that the
articles themselves make a bit more sense. In some of them, it will
feel as if we have entered into a conversation mid-stream.

These articles come at a time when we are trying to evaluate some new
directions for NativeNet, which will, I hope, be helped by the results
of a survey which will be announced soon. --Gary ]
