Peace and Dignity Journeys 1992 is a very important project for all of us at
this time. We are in a state of world crisis, and need more than ever before
to come together in unity. Peace and Dignity Journeys 1992 can help unite us
with common goals while maintaining our individuality and autonomy.
The journeys will begin in Alaska, Argentina, California, and Massachusetts,
and converge in Mexico City on October 12, 1992. We are coordinating the
portion of the run from Mass. through Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York
State, Pennsylvania, and on to join the main run in Chicago. We have not
determined the exact routeyet, as we are waiting to find the most local
support.
At this time, we are writing to see if you are willing to help in this project.
We are now trying to find out wh is interested in running, helping to coordi-
nate, helping with fundraising, or be local contacts or hosts. We really hope
you can join us in what will be an important and beneficial journey. We would
also really appreciate any iother groups or individuals you might know of that
we should contact. This could be other tribal or Native groups, running groups,
ecological groups, or any other individuals or groups you can think of.
In order to plan our route soon, we need to know where local support is so we
can direct the route to that area. Please reply as quickly as possible and
please send us other names, or talk to others yourself. For more information,
