# 1 Adelaide Street East, Toronto
(Outside Noranda Office)
Anishnabe (Chippewa) treaty rights are under attack in northern
Wisconsin. Every April, Anishnabe spearfishers peacefully
exercising their treaty rights to fish are harrassed by racist,
often violent anti-treaty mobs. Toronto-based Noranda, Inc. is
planning to open a mine in the area that would contaminate the
habitat of the fishery. At a time when treaty rights are under
attack in Ontario as well, come out and show your support for
aboriginal treaty rights in Wisconsin and across Turtle Island, and
your opposition to Noranda's mining plans.
