It is my opinion that the subject of this exchange, as valid as it might
be, has deteriorated considrably from the purposes of this network.
Could the involve parties leave it for a more appropriate forum?

[ I agree with Daniel, and the others who have written to me to express
this same opinion. As I said in my article earlier today, I'd like
to broaden the scope of the discussion if we want to go on talking
about related topics of ways in which indigenous peoples have been
