Also in reference to survey; ethnicity id. Fill-in-the-blank allows for
COMPLETE identification as the individual perceives it. i.e. mixed tribal
heritage, mixed racial heritage...Other option, somewhat less complete, is
to code for multiple answers in that category as opposed to the standard
single column response.
