Saskatchewan Blockade

On May 14, 1992 at 12 noon, 200 members of the Cree, Dene, Ojibway
First Nations, set up a Blockade on Highway 155 at Hay Creek turn
off in Northern Saskatchewan. As of last night 100 people remain
defiant against the R.C.M.P., Meadow Lake Pulpmill, Camaco Uranium
Mining Corp, Weyerhauser Pulp and Paper Co.

The call for support is needed now. Financial support for those
in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal is needed to transport people,
food, tents etc. Northern Saskatchewan is very isolated.

K. Daniels (Cub) is available to do interviews if needed. Because
of the isolation, there are no fax machines but there are contacts.
