COMMON GROUND is an annual journal where grassroots women speak
from the heart. A seasonal newsletter, "GROUNDINGS", which builds a
network of solidarity. Published by a community of people who
experiment in non-violent ways of doing justice.

"I feel that the legends of the people who have gone before are
telling us that now is the time to gather". (Velia Silva).

The Women in this publication are taking the risk to speak from the
heart...We speak of our love and faith in the midst of pain and
struggle. It's an act of faith for each of us to speak and to believe
that someone will hear us. (Rosalinda Catitonauh Ramirez).

SAIIC congratulates Jackie Warledo, et al, for having compiled this
important contribution of Indian women.
