The Monsanto Company is soliciting the right to test their
herbicide Accord on land owned by the Port Graham, Alaska
native corporation. They are requesting the right to conduct
aerial spraying of 150 acres, and are assuring everyone that
this herbibide will only kill grasses and thereby enhance the
growth of trees, with no toxic effects to humans, wild game,
fish or water. We are interested in hearing from any tribes
or individuals about their dealings with aerial spraying of
herbicides, experiences with the Monsanto Company, contamination
of wild foods by herbicides or pesticides, or specific problems
with Monsanto glyphosate herbicides Accord, Roundup, or Rodeo.
